How We Make Money

RangeYourself may earn money when readers click or sign up through certain provider links. We work with affiliate networks and partner platforms that may include Katalys, Awin, CJ Affiliate, Amazon Associates, or direct provider programs. Those affiliate commissions fund the research, comparison, writing, and ongoing maintenance the site requires.
What Affiliate Revenue Does Not Do
Affiliate relationships do not determine our rankings. Wherever we rank programs against prices we track, the order is verified price, lowest first. A provider can be included because it is relevant to the comparison, not because it pays us, and a provider can rank below a non-partner when its pricing is unclear, its terms are weaker, or another program is a better fit for the reader. We do not accept payment for a specific placement, we do not raise a provider because its commission is higher, and we do not soften documented drawbacks because a partner prefers gentler language.
The One Narrow Exception
Where programs land on the exact same price and are also identical on every factor we track, so nothing a shopper could choose between separates them, we list programs that support the site first, and we label the tie on the page. We verify each program’s differentiating details first; a tie only exists after that check finds no difference to show. An affiliate payout never moves a program ahead of another that a shopper could actually tell apart.
When We Can’t Verify a Price
Where a provider’s real price cannot be obtained from its public pages, we do not estimate one: the program stays listed and labeled “confirm at enrollment” rather than taking a position in a price-ordered list it has no verified number for. Providers priced this way are automatically left out of “cheapest” and “best value” picks, since there is no real number to rank them on.
