How Much Does CallRail Cost?

Updated August 6, 2026· every figure checked against the vendor’s own pricing page

CallRail costs $55 a month on Lead Tracking, $105 on Lead Tracking Complete, $165 on Lead Conversion and $215 on Lead Conversion Complete if you pay monthly; on its yearly plan those become $50, $95, $150 and $195. All verified on CallRail's own pricing page on August 6, 2026. Every tier includes the same allowance, “5 numbers and 250 minutes”, and everything past it is metered: $3.00 a number, $0.06 a local minute, $0.08 a toll-free minute, $0.03 a text. On 10 local tracking numbers and 500 local talk minutes in a month that turns a $50 base fee into $80.

RangeYourself has no affiliate relationship with any call-tracking platform on this page as of August 6, 2026: every link here goes straight to the vendor’s own site and earns us nothing. We may pursue one in this category, and if we do we will say so here. Either way the ordering follows published prices and each vendor’s own published rates, and a vendor that pays nothing is listed on exactly the same basis as one that does. Every CallRail tier, on both billing terms

Read from https://www.callrail.com/pricing on 2026-08-06. CallRail's pricing page serves an empty shell to a plain HTTP request and renders entirely in the browser, so it was read there with the billing toggle set each way in turn. It loads with the yearly radio already selected. What it publishes once rendered is the most complete metering disclosure in this set: an INCLUDED MONTHLY WITH ALL PLANS block and an ADD MORE TO YOUR PLAN block, both per tier, so a buyer can compute an overage bill without contacting anyone.

CallRail's page loads on its yearly option and advertises “Save up to 10% with a yearly plan” On its own two published figures for the entry tier, staying monthly costs 10% more: $55 against $50. The annual base fee is also charged up front, which CallRail states: “For customers on a plan with annual billing, your base fee for the upcoming 12 months is due upon your form of payment entry.”

What the base fee does not cover

This is the part of the answer that decides the bill. Every CallRail tier includes the same five numbers and 250 minutes, so the tier you pick changes what the software does, not how much usage you get. Everything above the allowance is metered at the rates below, which CallRail publishes on the same page as the prices.

  • Form submissions above the included 1,000, on the two Complete tiers: $0.02 each. “Form submissions N/A $0.02 ea. N/A $0.02 ea.”
  • Analysis minutes above the included 10,000, on the two Lead Conversion tiers: $0.05 each. “Analysis minutes N/A N/A $0.05 ea. $0.05 ea.”
  • Voice Assist, an AI answering add-on priced outside every plan: Starts at $95/month, plus $1 a call after the first 50. “*Additional $1/call after 50 Voice Assist calls over 15 seconds.”

Put together, 10 local tracking numbers and 500 local talk minutes in a month costs $80 on the cheapest tier. $50 base fee on Lead Tracking on the vendor's annual term, plus 5 numbers above the 5 included, at $3.00 each ($15), plus 250 minutes above the 250 included, at $0.06 each ($15). That is $30 of metering on top of a $50 plan, or 60% more than the number on the card.

The scenario is 10 local tracking numbers and 500 local talk minutes in a month, chosen before any rate was read so that the metering would be visible rather than hidden inside an allowance. Chosen before the rates were read: a volume above every entry plan's included allowance in this set, so the metering is visible rather than hidden inside an inclusion. It is a floor, not a quote. It excludes toll-free numbers, texts, transcription, AI analysis and every add-on, all of which are metered separately by most of these vendors.

Three things worth knowing before you sign up

  • CallRail states that overage is non-refundable in every case: "These additional fees are not refundable under any circumstances but you can always upgrade your pricing plan as your business grows."
  • Minutes are rounded up per call before they are summed, which raises a short-call-heavy bill above a naive minutes calculation: "Minutes are calculated by rounding each call up to the nearest minute and then summing the minutes".
  • CallRail reserves the right to change the rates: "we may change our fees at any time by posting a new pricing structure to our Site or in your account and/or sending you a notification by email."
  • Text messages are metered but not available during the trial: the SMS row is annotated "*Available after trial".

This page compares what each vendor publishes about price, allowances and per-unit rates. It makes no claim about which platform attributes calls more accurately, transcribes more faithfully, integrates more cleanly or is better supported, because those are not things a pricing page can establish and we have not tested them.

What is not on this page

  • Any commission. RangeYourself has no affiliate relationship with CallRail, and the link here goes to callrail.com.
  • Any figure CallRail does not publish. Its healthcare plans are referred to but not priced, and neither are they here.
  • Any claim about how accurately CallRail attributes calls. This is a price and terms comparison.

Worth saying plainly, because it shapes what you are reading: RangeYourself currently has no affiliate relationship with any call-tracking platform on this page, and every vendor link here goes straight to the vendor’s own site. If that changes, this line changes with it. Either way nothing here is written to push you towards a demo, no vendor pays for placement, and the ranked tables sort on published prices rather than on anything we are paid.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest CallRail plan?

Lead Tracking, at $55 a month billed monthly or $50 on the yearly plan, verified August 6, 2026. It includes 5 numbers and 250 minutes. Numbers and minutes beyond that are billed at $3.00 and $0.06 each, so the cheapest plan is not the same thing as the cheapest month.

What does CallRail actually cost per month with usage?

On 10 local tracking numbers and 500 local talk minutes in a month, $80 on the cheapest tier: $50 base fee on Lead Tracking on the vendor's annual term, plus 5 numbers above the 5 included, at $3.00 each ($15), plus 250 minutes above the 250 included, at $0.06 each ($15). That is 60% above the base fee. Your own bill depends on your call volume; the rates to do the sum with are on this page.

Does CallRail charge per minute?

Yes, above the 250 local minutes every tier includes: $0.06 a local minute and $0.08 a toll-free minute. Two details raise that in practice. Minutes are rounded up per call: "Minutes are calculated by rounding each call up to the nearest minute and then summing the minutes". And overage is non-refundable: "These additional fees are not refundable under any circumstances".

Which CallRail plan has conversation intelligence?

Lead Conversion, at $165 a month billed monthly or $150 yearly. CallRail describes it as "Unlock richer insights with Premium Conversation Intelligence™ to attract and convert more leads." That tier includes 10,000 analysis minutes, with more at $0.05 each.

Does CallRail have a free trial?

Yes: "Every account starts with a 14-day free trial. We don’t require a credit card to get started, and we won’t bill you until your trial is over." Text messaging is not part of it — the SMS row on the pricing page is annotated "*Available after trial".

How we verify this

Every figure on this page was read from the vendor’s own pricing page and is stored with that page’s URL, a verbatim quote, and the date it was checked (most recent: August 6, 2026). 5 of these 8pages render their prices or their rate cards in the browser rather than in the served HTML, so they were read in a browser with each billing option selected in turn. The monthly totals on this page are arithmetic on published figures only: a base fee, plus the numbers and minutes above whatever that tier includes at the vendor’s own per-unit rates, less any usage credit the vendor states. Where any one of those components is unpublished, the row says not calculable rather than estimating the rest, and names what is missing. A blank in a rate column means the vendor publishes no figure for it, which is a statement about the page and not a claim about the product. Publishing no price at all is a normal enterprise choice and is recorded as such. See our editorial standards and how we verify.
