Range Yourself

Instantly vs lemlist

Updated August 6, 2026· every figure checked against the vendor’s own pricing page

These two are priced on different units, so the headline gap is misleading. Instantly's entry plan is $47 a month for 5,000 emails a month and 1,000 uploaded contacts, with unlimited email accounts. lemlist's Email plan is $69 a month ($55 annually) for 50,000 emails a month and unlimited contacts. So lemlist costs more per month and permits ten times the sending at the entry tier. The catch is a genuine ambiguity on lemlist's own page, which we could not resolve: the plan card says unlimited users, and the comparison table further down the same page prices the same plan per user. Both quotes are on this page. We have not tested either platform.

RangeYourself has no affiliate relationship with any platform on this page as of August 6, 2026: every link here goes straight to the vendor’s own site and earns us nothing. We may pursue one in this category, and if we do we will say so here. Either way the ordering follows published prices and each vendor’s own stated terms, and a vendor that pays nothing is listed on exactly the same basis as one that does. The contradiction on lemlist’s page, in full

This matters more than any feature difference, because it changes the price by a multiple. On 2026-08-06, lemlist's Email plan card stated “Unlimited users” while the plan comparison table lower on the same page stated “Email From $55 /user /mo”. For a team of four those two readings are $55 a month and $220 a month.

We are not saying which is correct, because lemlist has not said. If you are buying the Email plan for more than one user, get the per-user question answered in writing before you pay. Instantly has no equivalent ambiguity: its Outreach plans carry no per-user language at all.

lemlist's Multichannel tier states “Unlimited emails and messages” and, on the same card, “5 senders per user”. Unlimited sending through a capped number of senders is a real constraint, and lemlist prints both halves of it.

The trial, and a warning about the trial you may be shown

lemlist publishes “14 days of full access to the Multichannel plan, no credit card required.” Instantly's pricing page states no trial at all. Worth knowing: the lemlist page we read served a personalised banner offering an extended 30-day trial through a named creator's link. The trial lemlist publishes on its own plan cards and in its own FAQ is 14 days, and that is what is recorded here. If you are shown a longer one, it is not the standing term lemlist publishes on its own plan cards.

This page compares what each vendor publishes about price and limits. It says nothing about deliverability, reply rates or inbox placement: we have not tested these tools, and we have not found a figure of that kind for this category that we could trace to an independent test.

Worth saying plainly, because it shapes what you are reading: RangeYourself currently has no affiliate relationship with any platform on this page, and every vendor link here goes straight to the vendor’s own site. If that changes, this line changes with it. Either way nothing here is written to push you towards a signup, no vendor pays for placement, and the ranked tables sort on published prices rather than on anything we are paid.

Frequently asked questions

Which is cheaper, Instantly or lemlist?

Instantly, on the headline: $47 a month against lemlist's $69, both verified on August 6, 2026. Per email sent it goes the other way, because lemlist's entry plan permits 50,000 emails a month against Instantly's 5,000 emails a month.

Is lemlist priced per user?

lemlist's own page says both things. The Email plan card states "Unlimited users and email senders" and the comparison table on the same page states "Email From $55 /user /mo". We could not resolve it from anything lemlist publishes, so we report both. The Multichannel plan is unambiguously per user.

How many emails can you send on each entry plan?

Instantly Growth: 5,000 emails a month. lemlist Email: 50,000 emails a month. Both figures are the vendors' own, verified on August 6, 2026.

Does lemlist include LinkedIn outreach on the cheaper plan?

No. lemlist puts LinkedIn, SMS, calling and WhatsApp on its Multichannel tier, which is the more expensive of the two paid plans. The Email tier is email only.

Which has the better free trial?

lemlist, on what is published: 14 days of full access to the Multichannel plan, no credit card required. Instantly's pricing page states no trial.

How we verify this

Every figure on this page was read from the vendor’s own site and is stored with the URL it came from, a verbatim quote, and the date it was checked (most recent: August 6, 2026). That is the vendor’s pricing page in almost every case; where a vendor publishes its own machine-readable pricing file, a fact may come from that instead, and the stored URL says so. Where a page renders its prices in the browser rather than in the served HTML, we read the rendered page at the same URL and record that we did. Where a vendor publishes no number, we say so instead of repeating a figure from elsewhere. Nothing here is a performance claim: we have not tested deliverability, and no vendor’s own marketing is repeated as a result. Percentages are arithmetic on two published figures and nothing else. See our editorial standards and how we verify.
